Morgan Stewart McGraw’s journey from her candid days on E! Network’s reality series Rich Kids of Beverly Hills to a powerhouse in the fashion world exemplifies more than just a transformation. It’s a chronicle of maturation, understanding, and a profound appreciation for timeless beauty. This became particularly evident with the launch of her new fashion line, Renggli.

Renggli isn’t just a brand; it’s an embodiment of McGraw’s philosophy towards fashion and life. As an early teenager, she recognized the value of investing in enduring quality over the fleeting appeal, a sentiment resonated in her enduring love for natural diamond jewelry and a navy-blue Jill Sander sweater she’s owned for almost 15 years (just check out her recent interview in New York Magazine’s The Cut for more of a wardrobe tour…).

For McGraw, fashion and fine jewelry aren’t just “things”; they’re trusted companions through life’s myriad moments. They stand by you, and they shouldn’t betray you based on the whims of time or circumstances. It’s this principle of longevity and quality that’s woven into every thread of Renggli. Yet, she hasn’t priced these exquisite pieces in an exorbitant range. In her words, while she might not have “earned luxury” in its entirety, she’s most certainly delivering an unmatched product. She has an unwavering commitment to her brand, ensuring every piece aligns with her vision. Her aim? To craft clothing that’s not just enduring in quality but also accessible to her diverse audience.

We caught up with McGraw on –where else –Rodeo Drive –adorned in the earth’s timeless treasures for a day of high fashion and deep insight into her world, Renggli, and her indelible bond with natural diamonds.

Can you share a personal story or moment that encapsulates your relationship with natural diamonds?

I have always loved diamonds; how can you not?! I vividly remember my mom wearing a black onyx and diamond art deco ring that I always admired and loved as a kid.

Jordan [McGraw, her husband of nearly three years] also gifted me a canary pear-shaped diamond necklace for the birth of Row [the couple’s daughter born in 2021], which was and is magnificent. I’ve always loved yellow and canaries, so we decided to make her nursery yellow, which also was the inspiration for the gift!

You’ve always been a pro at spotting trends. From your vantage point, what trends are emerging in the jewelry world this year that are exciting?

I feel like colored and big stones are about to be huge! I’m predicting that colorful and gold jewelry is about to take over. I’m so excited.

Do you have a favorite piece of diamond jewelry you own or have worn, perhaps with a unique story or significance?

I have to say my engagement ring. It’s an extended cushion, and it’s flawless.

We can’t believe it’s taken this long to get to this, but congratulations on the launch of Renggli. Can you tell us about the inspiration behind your new fashion line and how the name “Renggli” came to be?

Thank you!!! The name was easy to land on as it’s my middle name. I hated it as a kid, and then I grew up and got a clue. I always knew that when I eventually would have my own line (yes, I always knew), I would name it Renggli. [The launch] genuinely exceeded all of my wildest dreams and expectations! It was wonderful. Everything was basicallysold out within minutes of being live.

Los Angeles has always been a melting pot of fashion trends and styles. How has the L.A. fashion scene influenced your personal style?

Being born and raised in LA has definitely influenced my sense of dress. I feel like when you’re from LA, you tend to lean more towards being casually dressed during the day, which is convenient but definitely makes you crave some weather to allow for more versatile looks.

Given the deep connection between high fashion and luxury jewelry, are there any plans or dreams to collaborate with a renowned jeweler in the future?

I would absolutely love to do that. So many beautiful brands come to mind, but I would have to say Sidney Garber would be a huge, huge huge honor. Manifesting that now!

With the launch of Renngli and its imminent success, what’s next on the horizon for you and the brand?

We have a new launch coming this November!! So there’s more Renggli to come!
