Meet the Expert
Caroline Scheufele is a German-born Swiss businesswoman. She is the artistic director and co-president of Chopard, the Swiss-based luxury watches and jewelry manufacturer.
Chopard also launched its annual Red Carpet Haute Joaillerie Collection during the festival. The creations, designed by Caroline Scheufele, are brought to life on the famous red carpeted steps, worn by actresses and supermodels like Hadid.

Chopard has been the official partner of the Cannes Film Festival since 1998, as well as the creator of the Palme d’Or. The Maison supports emerging talent through the Trophée Chopard. Isabelle Huppert will serve as the Godmother of the Trophée Chopard, to be presented to emerging talents Odessa A’zion and Connor Swindells during the 79th Cannes Film Festival.
Established in 2001, the award celebrates emerging international talent in cinema, each year honoring one actress and one actor with promising careers. “I am thrilled,” Huppert said in a press release. “This award honors that fragile, exhilarating moment when a career is still being shaped — a time of intuition, courage, and freedom. Bella Hadid Wore Chopard Jewelry to the 2026 Cannes Film Festival
Bella Hadid made her highly anticipated return to the Palais des Festivals, walking the red carpet in a custom Prada ensemble on the arm of her little brother, Anwar Hadid. The supermodel dazzled in Chopard jewels, featuring 24.12-carat diamond chandelier earrings, set in 18-karat white gold from the Haute Joaillerie Collection—similar to those she wore to the 2024 festival. She added a 16.18-carat diamond bracelet from the same assortment, as well as a 13.85-carat diamond bracelet from the L’Heure du Diamant Collection.
The Orebella founder added a myriad of rings from the Haute Joaillerie Collection, including a 15.01-carat square emerald-cut diamond ring with an additional 1.21 carats of diamonds, a 9.65-carat three-stone ring, and a 7.79-carat heart-shaped brilliant diamond ring.

Hadid made her way down the red carpet in a black slinky Saint Laurent gown alongside Chopard’s Caroline Scheufele for the screening of the film ‘Partir un Jour.’ The supermodel adorned incredible earrings from the Red Carpet Collection, featuring 118.68 carats of emeralds and 10.31 carats of diamond clusters, set in 18-karat white gold. Hadid wore two rings from the Haute Joaillerie Collection, including a pinky ring with a 12.15-carat heart-shaped diamond surrounded by additional diamonds, and another with a 15.01-carat emerald-cut diamond, accented with extra diamonds.
