It’s only fitting that an iconic brand like Messika would partner with an iconic model. Enter Kendall Jenner, the latest face of Messika as unveiled today in a gorgeous campaign shot by Chris Colls in the South of France.
“I wanted to illustrate a subtle alliance between grace and strength and capture an image of an alpha woman with a mysterious and hypnotic aura,” says Valérie Messika in a press release. “Kendall perfectly embodied that for me.”
The aquatic-themed photoshoot dressed Kendall in a variety of simple, slick, sleek athleisure looks paired with Messika’s easy-to-wear diamond jewels. “Accumulations of jewels stacked across the fingers, wrists, decolletage and neck dance in reflections of sunlight and give rhythm to the look,” states the brand in its press release. The total effect proves the age old adage: sometimes less really is more.
“Kendall, with her eyes fixed on the lens, is alluring and magnetic,” the brand continues. To campaign viewers, Kendall and the diamonds are equally irresistible.
“Messika’s jewelry has always reminded me of Paris, one of my favorite cities,” explains Kendall in the press release. “During the shoot, I was able to see so many beautiful pieces, which gave me a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship of the house that goes into even the smallest earring.”
