Your favorite PDA-loving, punk rock couple, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, are engaged! We couldn’t be happier for this duo and can’t stop looking at the photos of the rose-covered dream that was the beachside proposal in Montecito, California where Travis gave Kourtney her massive diamond engagement ring, designed by Lorraine Schwartz, .
The ring itself is obviously a show-stopper—as if anyone expected less from one of the most famous musicians in the world. From videos shared on social media, it looks like the whopper of a diamond is an oval shape brilliant cut weighing in at about 10 carats, set low in a minimalist rose gold mounting with a petite pavé diamond band. We wouldn’t be surprised it has a very high color and clarity grade as well. The value, although impossible to be exact without examining it, would be at least $500,000. Barker seemed to go for a simple style with the jaw-dropping center stone, letting the oval diamond do all of the talking, as it should.

Kourtney Kardashian’s Engagement Ring: An Oval-Shaped Diamond Stunner
Oval-shaped diamond rings are one of the most popular engagement ring styles these days thanks to their radiant, sparkle-enhancing cut and elongating look, which helps even a smaller carat sizes look bigger than a round or cushion shaped-diamond of the same size. Kourtney’s in particular looks like it could be up to 15 carats, thanks to the elongated shape.
Modern yet simple, and let’s just call it what is it: HUGE. This diamond ring is certainly going to go down in the history books. Congratulations to Kourtney and Travis, we can’t wait to see the sure-to-be spectacular wedding Kris Jenner is going to plan!
Kourt isn’t the only star with an oval-shaped ring: Hailey Bieber, Jasmine Tookes, Blake Lively and more all wear similar styles on a simple band.
