Cake, Celebs, and Commitment Jewelry: Inside FoundRae’s NYC Launch
With Emily Ratajkowski, Ariana DeBose, and Antoni Porowski in attendance, FoundRae’s new ‘United in Love’ collection made its dazzling debut in New York City.

Beth Hutchens has never done anything by the book. Since launching FoundRae in 2015, Beth Hutchens has created symbol-rich jewelry pieces that challenge traditional norms and redefine modern heirlooms through their expression of identity and connection. FoundRae’s visionary jewelry designer, who recently won the 2025 GEM Award for Jewelry Design, launched United in Love as her first bridal and commitment jewelry collection. And in true FoundRae fashion, the debut was anything but traditional.
The brand’s New York City Lispenard Street flagship became a celebration of all forms of love during its April 16 evening launch event. The guest list glittered alongside displays of diamonds as Emily Ratajkowski and other notable attendees like Ariana DeBose, Antoni Porowski, Hannah Bronfman, Lynn Yaeger, Zanna Roberts Rassi, and Erin Walsh came together to celebrate the occasion.

The collection mirrored the evening as guests enjoyed an exciting, intimate night filled with unexpected delights. The guests sipped signature cocktails and examined FoundRae’s newest collections, which featured natural diamond solitaire rings, eternity bands, diamond necklaces, and earrings, along with Hutchens’ signature medallions, which each contained symbols representing unity, strength, and love. Guests also took photos in a vintage getaway car, a whimsical nod to weddings and spontaneous romance.
But the highlight of the night? It came in the form of dessert. The dessert presentation featured a massive cake that Hutchens ceremoniously cut while making heartfelt remarks to attendees. As guests took individual cake slices, we learned that three of them contained hidden surprises as a playful reference to hidden treasures. The lucky winners who discovered a “hidden gem” inside their cake slice received diamond-studded prizes, which sent the crowd into a frenzy. It was a sweet and sparkling reminder that love, like the best jewelry, often comes with surprises.

The United in Love Collection features pieces that celebrate love’s milestones with unique meanings that surpass traditional expectations. FoundRae consistently incorporates symbolic elements throughout its work. The current message resonates with a universal audience by proclaiming that love remains consistent, regardless of its form.
Hutchens expanded the commitment jewelry range to represent today’s diverse relationships rather than restricting it to only engagement rings and wedding bands. United in love presents inclusive and timeless expressions of connection for proposals and vow renewals, as well as lifelong partnerships and bonds that transcend traditional labels.
The recognizable visual motifs of the brand bring modern interpretations of classic symbolism to life through yellow gold, white gold, and diamond-set designs. But beyond their aesthetics, these pieces are meant to serve as lasting reminders: The jewelry serves as a testament to our identities and the people we cherish while symbolizing life’s significant moments.

This collection celebrates love unshaken by expectation, unbound by tradition, and unafraid to evolve. For generations, love has been shaped—and sometimes limited—by cultural norms. United in Love is FoundRae’s answer to that: a beautiful reminder that love is limitless. These jewels are not just for ceremonies but for stories. They honor the deeply personal connections that transcend time, gender, and convention.
As one would expect from Hutchens, the craftsmanship is exceptional, the storytelling is nuanced, and the message is bold. Perhaps most importantly, the collection reflects what FoundRae does best: blending symbolism and emotion into tangible objects people can wear and hand down through generations. With United in Love, FoundRae doesn’t just enter the bridal space; it reshapes it.
