At the onset of the  pandemic, we all found ourselves in a sweatsuit induced rut.
I’m not going to lie—I rejoiced at the fact that I didn’t have to wear my ‘outside clothes’ anymore. Pantsuits were replaced with tracksuits and my motivation was quickly overtaken by indolence. As work meetings, coffee with friends and even celebrations were all slowly replaced by virtual calls, my outlook changed. At the end of the day, a video call is meant to replicate reality. Dressing up for one therefore is embracing the new normal. Not to mention, psychologists have found a direct link between what you wear and your state of mind in any situation. 

So, I charted out a style bible which allowed me to retain my newly realised comfort—in lieu of pants, I decided to wear diamond jewellery.
