The Venice Film Festival 2025 has kicked off, delivering the dazzling diamond jewelry we’ve come to anticipate from the ultra-glamorous red carpet event. Cinema’s most beloved actors and directors descended upon the Italian City of Canals to celebrate this year’s most exciting projects, decked out in jaw-dropping jewels.
Sideways and Nebraska filmmaker Alexander Payne is head of the jury this year, succeeding Isabelle Huppert. He’s joined by filmmakers Stéphane Brizé, Maura Delpero, Cristian Mungiu, and Mohammad Rasoulof, as well as I’m Still Here actress Fernanda Torres and Caught by the Tides star Zhao Tao.
The 82nd annual Venice Film Festival will take place from August 27 to September 6 on the island of Lido, and will debut a glittering array of highly anticipated films.

Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein will premiere, starring Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, and Mia Goth. American painter and In the Hand of Dante filmmaker Julian Schnabel wore a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock brooch in platinum and 18k yellow gold, featuring a 25-carat natural diamond, to the Cartier Glory to the Filmmaker Award 2025 during the Venice Film Festival.

For the premiere of her new film, The Testament of Ann Lee, Amanda Seyfried wore a strapless button-down Prada gown with a red bow, styled by Elizabeth Stewart.
The actress added a velvet choker ribbon to her ensemble, featuring a Tiffany & Co. Bird on a Rock brooch with a diamond weighing over 11 carats attached.
