Diamonds Stole the Show at the Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos Wedding

As Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos arrived in Venice with their famous friends to celebrate one of the most talked-about nuptials in decades, their jewelry gave new meaning to Venetian glass. Natural diamonds shared the spotlight at the Bezos wedding, beaming just as bright as the former journalist who won the Amazon founder’s heart. Lauren Sánchez’s $4 Million Diamond Ring at the Bezos Wedding
The bride stole the show with two stunning diamond rings. Sánchez was spotted stepping out of the Aman Hotel, where the couple was staying, on Friday before the ceremony, looking chic in a white Dior ensemble, a Hermès headscarf, and sunglasses — a nod to Grace Kelly that subdued her face and hair.
But it was her fingers that truly sparkled. She wore a second, even larger oval-cut ring on her left hand, with her original ring moved to the right hand. The upgrade is estimated to be between 30 and 40 carats and features a unique tiered, double-halo platinum pavé setting to secure the massive natural diamond. Its estimated value: $4 million.
The first engagement ring, designed by Lorraine Schwartz, she received in May 2023 when Bezos proposed to her on the billionaire’s three-masted superyacht, Koru. According to jewelry experts, the ring is made from an extremely rare cushion-cut pink diamond with a hint of a rose hue. It is estimated to be 20 to 30 carats in size and worth roughly $2.5 million.
Another outfit look where the two beautiful rings stood was a gown from the Schiaparelli by Daniel Roseberry “Icarus” Haute Couture show in January. The strapless style worn to the rehearsal dinner was further accented by diamond stud earrings the size of gumballs.
While the custom designed, long-sleeve lace mermaid-line wedding gown by Dolce & Gabbana, featuring 180 silk-chiffon covered buttons, didn’t accommodate a diamond necklace or bracelet, Bezos’ love of buying sparkling gems for his new wife was evident in a sporty charm bracelet she wore, adorned with diamond-encrusted “L” and “B” letters in a nod to her new initials. The rings and the bracelet will surely complement the chandelier-style diamond earrings and Marquise-cut necklace with a pear-shaped anchor stone that Sánchez wore to accompany Bezos to the 2025 Breakthrough Prize ceremony in April in Santa Monica, where the billionaire presented an award.
Third-generation New York jeweler Lorraine Schwartz didn’t just adorn the beautiful 55-year-old bride. Schwartz, who counts Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and Angelina Jolie among her famous clients, had several VIP moments at the affair, as some guests, including members of the Kardashian-Jenner family, also stunned in her designs.

At the wedding ceremony, Khloé Kardashian complemented her blush pink sequin gown with an approximately 100-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond necklace featuring a pear-shaped drop, paired with 20-carat diamond stud earrings also by Schwartz. The night before, at the dinner event, she wore a diamond cuff-style bracelet.

While Kim Kardashian is also a long-time Lorraine Schwartz client, for this occasion, she turned to London jeweler Moussaieff. The Moussaieff family has been in the gem trade for generations, opening a showroom in the 1960s and a flagship store on New Bond Street in 2006. The second-oldest Kardashian sister wore a slinky, shiny brown Versace gown and adorned herself with an array of mostly brown diamonds from Moussaieff’s high jewelry collection.
She layered a mixed brown and yellow diamond necklace set in gold with a white diamond necklace featuring graduated pear shapes. To complete the look, she added pear-shaped brown diamond stud earrings, a round cushion-cut ring, and another ring with an oval center stone flanked by two matching smaller gemstones.

As one to march to her own beat, Kendall Jenner also wore Lorraine Schwartz, but with a twist. She donned approximately 250 carats of Colombian emeralds, including a necklace featuring 110 carats and a 65-carat pear-shaped anchor stone, along with 70-carat pear-shaped drop earrings.
