Inside Cristiano Ronaldo’s Maximalist Diamond Watch Collection
From a $485,000 “Ice” Rolex to a Million-Dollar Bugatti on his wrist, CR7 owns some of the rarest diamond watches ever made, and maybe the most maximalist watch collection of anyone.

Few celebrity jewelry collections occupy the rarified air of Cristiano Ronaldo’s. Defined by extraordinary natural diamonds, exceptional craftsmanship, and unapologetic scale, it stands in a category all its own. The man who may be the greatest goalscorer in the history of soccer has assembled what is arguably one of the most valuable watch collections on the planet, and almost certainly the most maximalist. Recent estimates put his collection at roughly 54 timepieces worth tens of millions of dollars, and these are among the rarest and most extravagant in the bunch.

- Grant Mobley is the Jewelry & Watch Editor of Only Natural Diamonds.
- He is a GIA Diamonds Graduate.
- He has over 17 years of jewelry industry experience, starting with growing up in his family’s retail jewelry stores.
Here is what separates Ronaldo from the countless celebrities who buy “iced-out” watches. His diamond pieces are not aftermarket. Meaning, he does not send a watch to a third party to have stones added, as so many do to increase its value and presence. Every diamond and gem on these watches was set by the watch house itself by the maison’s own gem-setters. That distinction matters enormously. Factory gem-setting is exponentially rarer, holds its value far better, and represents a completely different level of craftsmanship and quality control.
When Rolex, Franck Muller, or Jacob & Co. sets the stones, the results are almost always one-of-a-kind or produced in tiny numbers, which is exactly what drives these watches into the stratosphere of rarity and value. Cristiano Ronaldo favors large, ultra-complicated, gem-covered watches, and he buys them the right way.
Below, a look at some of the wildest pieces in his collection.
Here, explore the wildest diamond pieces in Cristiano Ronaldo’s watch collection.
1. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Rolex GMT-Master II “Ice” Ref. 116769TBR Watch

The GMT-Master II “Ice” is the most expensive watch Rolex has ever offered to the public, with an original retail price of $485,350 and current market values ranging from $800,000 upward, depending on condition. The case is 18-karat white gold, and the entire watch, dial, bezel, case, and bracelet, is smothered in roughly 30 carats of natural diamonds. Cristiano Ronaldo famously wore his to the Dubai International Sports Conference in 2019, reportedly pairing it with additional jewelry that pushed his total look past $800,000. This watch never appeared in Rolex’s official catalog, which only adds to its mystique.
2. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Rolex Daytona “Rainbow” Yellow Gold Watch

A grail-level Daytona. Ronaldo’s version pairs a yellow gold case with a striking mother-of-pearl dial. The case carries 56 diamonds, while the bezel showcases 36 hand-cut natural sapphires arranged in a vivid rainbow gradient. Factory Rolex Daytona Rainbows trade between roughly $500,000 and $750,000, and the mother-of-pearl dial on his example makes it especially unusual.
3. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Rolex GMT-Master II Ref. 16758SARU Watch

This vintage-flavored gem-set GMT is a personal favorite of mine. The bezel blends sapphires, rubies, and diamonds to emulate the iconic red-and-blue “Pepsi” color scheme, and the lugs and crown guards carry additional diamonds. You can find these on the secondary market between roughly $195,000 and $250,000.
4. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Rolex Daytona Platinum Ice Blue Ref. 116576TBR Watch

A quietly spectacular piece. This platinum Daytona features the ice-blue dial that Rolex reserves exclusively for platinum models, paired with a baguette-cut diamond bezel. Platinum, baguette diamonds, and that unmistakable ice-blue Arabic dial make it one of the more sophisticated and, for Ronaldo, understated diamond watches in his rotation, even though it’s worth around $400,000.
5. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Franck Muller Invisible Setting Imperial Tourbillon Watch

This one is genuinely astonishing. Valued somewhere between $1.5 million and $2 million, this Franck Muller watch uses a mystery setting technique in which roughly 474 baguette-cut diamonds and 70 rubies sit side by side with no visible gold mounting between them. The stones are cut so precisely that they appear to float. It is one of the most technically demanding gem-setting methods in all of watchmaking, and it remains one of the crown jewels of his collection.
6. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Franck Muller Cintrée Curvex Tourbillon Piece Unique Watch

A one-of-a-kind Franck Muller in the brand’s signature curved tonneau case, fully set with baguette-cut diamonds. The Cintrée Curvex shape is one of the most recognizable silhouettes in watchmaking, and covering it entirely in baguettes turns it into a piece of wrist sculpture worth around $1.5 million.
7. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Jacob & Co. Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon “CR7 Edition” Piece Unique Watch

In 2022, Ronaldo and Jacob & Co. collaborated on a genuinely wild one-off inspired by his personal Bugatti Chiron hypercar. The tonneau-shaped case holds 232 white baguette diamonds and 109 black sapphires, totaling around 21 carats of gemstones, along with his “CR7” logo front and center. The showstopper is a working miniature replica of the Bugatti W16 engine rendered in sapphire crystal. Press a button, and 16 tiny pistons pump up and down. It cost him around $1 million, though, as a bespoke piece unique, no real price tag applies.
8. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Jacob & Co. Twin Turbo Furious Baguette Watch

Valued at approximately $1.3 million, this is one of the most complicated watches Jacob & Co. produces. It combines a twin triple-axis tourbillon, a decimal minute repeater, and a monopusher chronograph, all wrapped in a sculpted sapphire case fully set with baguette diamonds. The brand made only 18 pieces for the entire world. Jacob Arabo reportedly delivered it personally to Ronaldo.
9. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Jacob & Co. Royal Baguette Diamond White Gold Watch

Clearly a fan of Jacob & Co., Ronaldo also owns the Royal Baguette Diamond Automatic in white gold. The watch is completely covered in baguette- and square-cut natural diamonds totaling over 77 carats. At 49mm, it’s a hefty piece, and at $900,000, it’s also a valuable one. But it’s nothing Cristiano Ronaldo isn’t used to.
10. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Jacob & Co. Grand Baguette Diamond White Gold Watch

Ronaldo has worn this five-time-zone watch since 2013. The white gold case is set with around 360 baguette diamonds totaling roughly 13.2 carats, and reportedly, only about six Grand Baguettes exist in the world. The price sits around $1 million.
11. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Jacob & Co. Epic X “Flight of CR7” Rose Gold Watch

Limited to just 100 pieces, this co-branded watch features an image of Ronaldo captured mid-header while scoring against Manchester United during his Real Madrid years. The bezel carries 26 baguette-cut diamonds. A more personal, sportier entry in his diamond lineup, currently worth around $180,000.
12. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Girard-Perregaux Planetarium Tri-Axial Tourbillon Watch

A custom one-of-one that Girard-Perregaux does not sell to the public, valued between $1.7 million and $2 million. The 18-karat gold case is fully set with baguette-cut diamonds, and the movement is a triple-axis tourbillon. The real magic is a miniature hand-painted terrestrial globe that rotates once every 24 hours, viewable through large sapphire crystal domes. This is exactly the kind of watch that shows Ronaldo appreciates true horology, not just sparkle.
13. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Hublot “Masterpiece” MP-09 Tourbillon Bi-Axis King Gold Watch

Ronaldo’s version of this piece features a unique 18-karat rose gold case fully set with baguette-cut diamonds and a rose-cut diamond in the crown. The teardrop-shaped 49mm case houses a bi-axis tourbillon with an impressive five-day power reserve. Although it is technically one of a kind, the best estimate values this watch at $1 million.
14. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Breguet Classique Grande Complication Double Tourbillon Platinum Watch

Valued at approximately $800,000, this platinum masterpiece is adorned with 107 baguette-cut diamonds and features two tourbillons that rotate every 12 hours. Breguet is one of the most historically important names in all of watchmaking, and a diamond-set twin tourbillon represents the brand at its absolute peak.
15. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Bulgari Octo L’Originale Tourbillon White Gold Watch

This white gold Octo is set with 451 baguette-cut diamonds totaling nearly 20 carats, powered by Bulgari’s BVL 263 automatic tourbillon movement. The architectural Octo case, covered in baguette-cut diamonds on a blue leather strap, is a stunning marriage of Italian design and haute horlogerie and is worth around $750,000.
16. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Patek Philippe Nautilus Haute Joaillerie Ref. 5811/1460G-001 Watch

Patek Philippe’s most coveted sports watch taken to its jewelry extreme. This white gold Nautilus is fully set with a combination of baguette and round brilliant-cut diamonds. Given how difficult an ordinary steel Nautilus is to acquire, a factory haute joaillerie version occupies rarefied air and has a retail price over $700,000.
17. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Patek Philippe Celestial Grande Complication Ref. 6104R-001 Watch

One of the most poetic watches Patek makes, this rose gold Celestial watch features a diamond-set bezel around a mesmerizing black dial that displays the night sky, the movement of the stars, the phases of the moon, and the passage of sidereal time. It is astronomy on the wrist and a fitting piece for a collector of Ronaldo’s ambition, and it is worth over $700,000.
