Cece Jewellery founder Cece Fein-Hughes has always been an artist in spirit. After graduating from Exeter University in 2016 with a degree in the History of Art, Fein-Hughes thought she’d spend her career working in auction houses when a jewelry course in Hatton Garden changed everything.
“I realized I wanted to create, not just study,” Fein-Hughes tells Only Natural Diamonds. “I became obsessed with making something from nothing.” Since founding her namesake jewelry label in 2022, the in-demand designer has created customized pieces for the highest echelons of the Hollywood elite.
Meet the Expert

Cece Fein-Hughes is the founder and designer of Cece Jewellery, a London-based brand known for its whimsical, hand-painted champlevé enamel signet rings and necklaces.
Known for creating transportive, hand-painted imagery of fairytale figures and mythological creatures, evoking grand romance on gold signet rings and pendants, Fein-Hughes uses her diamond jewelry as a canvas for imaginative storytelling. “The first enamel signet was the breakthrough,” she says. “It turned jewelry into a miniature world I could paint and revived an ancient craftsmanship which was otherwise on the dying arts list.”
Why Natural Diamonds Are Central to Cece Jewellery’s Storytelling

Formed deep in the Earth’s crust over millions of years, the geological marvels that are natural diamonds add to the allure of Cece Jewellery’s dynamic and detailed pieces. “I love that they’re formed over millions of years and already carry a story,” Fein-Hughes explains. “We hand-select each one for character, not just grading. Often the diamond guides the design. They’re chosen to feel timeless, like future heirlooms.”
The ultimate icon of romance, Fein-Hughes says natural diamonds act as “points of light within the narrative, stars, sparks, reflections.” She says, “The contrast between enamel, gold, and diamond brings the scenes to life and adds movement and depth.”
The Friendship Rings That Immortalized Taylor Swift’s Cat

Last summer, Gigi Hadid purchased some personalized diamond rings for her closest girlfriends from Cece Jewellery, featuring hand-enameled portraits of their pets. For Taylor Swift, Hadid had the bespoke jewel include an image of her cat, Benjamin Button, and for Kendall Jenner, her Doberman Pinscher, Pyro. After commissioning these thoughtful pieces for her friends, Hadid had to get one for herself. The Dreamer ring features brilliant-cut natural diamonds and a hand-painted portrait of a mermaid looking off into a fantastical horizon.
Wuthering Heights Inspired Margot Robbie & Jacob Elordi’s Matching Rings

Shaking up theaters at the top of the year, Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi made a splash as star-crossed lovers Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff in Emerald Fennell’s controversial adaptation of Emily Brontë’s 1847 romantic novel, Wuthering Heights.
Following filming, Robbie commissioned matching champlevé enamel, diamond, and 18-karat gold signet rings for her and Elordi from Cece Jewellery, enameled with two hand-painted skeletons embracing in a bed of thorns and roses, engraved with Brontë’s famous line: “Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same,” inside a diamond halo border. C+H are etched on the side of the ring for Catherine and Heathcliff, with a round brilliant-cut diamond in a star.
Throughout the press tour, Robbie went on an epic method-dressing run with the help of her stylist Andrew Mukamal. At the Wuthering Heights photocall at Greystone Mansion in Los Angeles, she wore a blood red Dilara Findikoglu ensemble and her bespoke Cece Jewellery ring on her pinky finger.
“We worked with Margot Robbie and her stylist to create pieces inspired by the film and the characters,” Fein-Hughes says. “We created enameled skeletons, roses, and engraved text to reflect the story’s intensity and romance. They were designed to feel like discovered heirlooms with a modern twist.”
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s Anniversary Rings Are Peak Gothic Romance

Reality television royalty Kourtney Kardashian and renowned Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary with a pair of meaningful matching custom Cece Jewellery signet rings.
In 2022, the couple tied the knot in their third and final wedding ceremony at a lavish 16th-century castle in Dolce & Gabbana’s L’Ulivetta Villa in Portofino, Italy. Four years later, Kardashian commissioned Cece Jewellery to create the bespoke his-and-hers yellow gold ring set to mark the romantic milestone.
Featuring a man and woman skeleton in an embrace surrounded by flowers, with the words ‘Til Death Do Us Part, the motif is anchored by an archway of natural diamonds. On the sides of the bands, the couple’s initials are engraved over a burning red heart amongst dainty star-set round-cut white diamonds.
The brand took to Instagram with the caption, “Happy Anniversary to @kourtneykardash & @travisbarker! What an honor it was to create His & Her Rings from Kourtney to Travis, celebrating their once-in-a-lifetime love story. ‘Til Death Do Us Part.”
Anniversary rings stand out as tokens of love that honor the journey of a couple well beyond the moment they say, “I do.” The etiquette behind giving an anniversary ring traditionally was used to mark specific marriage landmark occasions, like surprising your spouse with a diamond ring for your 10th anniversary. But these days, there are no rules. Choosing a ring that reflects your unique relationship and personal style is what matters the most, and there’s no doubt these embody the aesthetic of Kardashian and Barker.
Justin Bieber’s Custom Necklace Is a Tribute to Jack Blues Bieber

Fein-Hughes designed two custom sentimental necklaces for the Prince of Pop, Justin Bieber. Following in the footsteps of his wife, Hailey, the Biebers are known to represent their family through the unrivaled sparkle of natural diamond monogram jewelry.
Since the birth of their son, Jack Blues Bieber, in July 2024, the couple has embraced jewelry dedicated to their child. On a solid gold chain, one necklace features four initial engraved charms sprinkled with diamonds, spelling out Jack’s name, dangling from pavé diamond links.
“We made two pieces,” says Fein-Hughes. “One spelling JACK in gold letter charms, and a cross engraved with roses, thorns, and his birth date.”
Suspended from a gold chain, the large cross pendant is etched with tattoo-inspired roses and thorns, and a hand-painted black enamel Roman numeral date, “XXII. VII. MMXXIV,” translating to July 22, 2024, for Jack’s birthdate. Its border is scattered with delicate diamonds. “One is direct and personal, the other more symbolic and spiritual,” adds Fein-Hughes.
