Is Taylor Swift engaged? You bet! It’s a big day for Swifties and pop culture enthusiasts everywhere—Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially engaged! Yes, you read that right. Taylor Swift is an engaged woman! Swift posted a carousel of photos to her Instagram account, featuring her and Travis in a fairytale-like rose garden with Travis on one knee, a few shots of the post-engagement glow, and of course, a close-up of the incredible natural diamond engagement ring.

Taylor Swift Engaged: All About the Ring
According to Only Natural Diamonds Jewelry and Watch Editor Grant Mobley, Taylor Swift’s engagement ring looks to be close to a 10-carat antique, elongated cushion-cut diamond, set on a hand-engraved, yellow gold band. “It’s a shape that beautifully blends vintage elegance with modern sophistication,” Mobley says. The style of the ring perfectly matches the vibe of the proposal—very Romeo and Juliet if they got a happy ending, a la Swift’s hit song, “Love Story.”
“With its exceptionally high clarity and such a rare, unique cut, the ring’s value would be estimated at around $750,000,” Mobley says. Early speculation from Page Six cites Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry as the designer behind the ring.
The vintage style of both the diamond and the band suits Swift perfectly. A known romantic and lover of “grandma-style,” Swift’s hobbies include knitting and baking sourdough bread. As a bona fide Swiftie, I predicted an antique-inspired ring for her engagement, and I was thrilled to see I was on the right track with the reveal of the ring.
Taylor Swift Engaged: The Dating Timeline
Taylor and Travis were first rumored to be dating in the summer of 2023, after Travis announced on his podcast that he went to the Eras Tour in hopes of meeting Taylor and giving her a friendship bracelet with his number on it. Alas, the meeting did not take place at Arrowhead, but thanks to Kansas City Chiefs’ coach Andy Reid’s friendship with Taylor’s father, the two were connected.
Taylor and Travis made their first public appearance together on September 24, 2023 at a Chiefs game where Taylor sat in the Kelce family box to cheer on her new boyfriend. Taylor has since attended many Chiefs games, including both Super Bowls in 2024 and 2025, where she wore plenty of natural diamond jewelry to cheer him on.
While the dads, Brads and Chads may not have loved seeing Taylor’s face on the jumbotron every game she attended, we Swifties were elated. Taylor made football fans out of everyone, including those who may not have had a passion for the sport before she made her appearances.

Travis returned the support by attending Taylor’s shows on her Eras tour in 2024, many of them on the European leg of the tour. Taylor recently revealed it was during this time of the tour that she was creating her newest album, The Life of a Showgirl. Fans are speculating the album will be full of pop bangers, alluding to the beginning of their fairytale romance.
Taylor announced the new album on a special episode of Travis and his brother Jason Kelce’s podcast New Heights, revealing the cover of the album and all 12 tracks. This new era is sure to be one of her most romantic yet.
