The 2023 Awards Season is in full swing, and the NAACP Image Awards did not disappoint when it came to delivering A-list and monumental fashion moments on the red carpet. Hosted by the incomparable Queen Latifah, the NAACP Awards celebrated influential diverse talent in the world of TV, film, music, sports, literature and music, and the natural diamond looks on stars like Zendaya, Viola Davis and Issa Rae won’t soon be forgotten.
Zendaya made her return to the red carpet after a brief hiatus worth the wait. The star opted for a suite of Bulgari High Jewelry gems including a diamond bracelet set in white gold, a ring featuring a 5.06 carat oval diamond with fancy buff top emeralds and a pair of diamond earrings.
Queen Latifah served as host for the evening and opened the show in a Bulgari Serpenti diamond necklace and shimmering diamond earrings.
A big winner of the evening, Angela Bassett accepted her three awards for Outstanding Actress in a drama series for 9-1-1, Supporting Actress for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and the Entertainer of the Year award in Gismondi 1754’s emerald and diamond Essenza Tassel earrings and Essenza ring.
Issa Rae kept her jewelry minimal and elegant, wearing a spectacular pair of fancy cut white diamond earrings from the Gismondi 1754 High Jewelry Ghiaccio collection.
How could you not be in awe of Viola Davis during the event? The Woman King actress and newest EGOT took home the award for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture and was radiant in De Beers diamonds including the Frozen Capture Diamond and Rock Crystal ear cuff, stud and bracelet from the The Alchemist of Light collection, the Adonis Rose Seven Row bracelet featuring 41.07 carats of natural diamonds and two Arpeggia diamond rings.

Abbot Elementary star Tyler James Williams collected his award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series while decked out in Cartier. His look included the Cartier Juste un Clou 18k yellow gold and diamond necklace, Santos de Cartier medium model 18k yellow gold, leather and diamond watch, and two Trinity de Cartier rings.
Singer and actress Janelle Monáe wore Nikos Koulis Oui earrings and ring featuring white diamonds, rubies, and black enamel to accent her sexy cut-out red gown.
Jared Lehr was the jeweler of choice for Abbot Elementary creator and star Quinta Brunson, who accessorized her jaw-dropping Dundas gown with geometric earrings and rings with diamonds and gemstones.
