About Reha Sukheja
Meet Hyderabad girl Reha Sukheja with a penchant for making any outfit look ethereal with her effortless chic. A bundle of joy off the ramp, she sparkled all the way through her animated expressions ensuring we never had a dull moment throughout our rendezvous.

“Diamonds symbolise elegance and I savour them in my round cut solitaires, they are simple but a statement—just how I like my jewellery.” – Reha Sukheja

Diamonds: What do they mean to you?
RS: I’m all for grace and style–both personified by diamonds. Diamonds are but frozen time, goes the adage and it encapsulates the forever charm of real diamonds. A symbol of love, diamonds embody the principle of slow fashion. Cutting across generations, consumers across the world value the exclusivity of natural diamonds.

What is your favourite piece of diamond jewellery?
RS: I am all for pure elegance; no frills and drills for me. Natural diamonds symbolize elegance and I savour them in my diamond studs, they are simple but make a statement—just how I like my jewellery.

Which was your favourite trend from Lakmé Fashion Week 2020?
RS: There was so much to love like the contemporary updates on classics. The saris were especially beautiful this season. I loved Payal Khandwala and Amit Wadhwa’s collections but if I had to pick one, I would take Khandwala’s purple sari for sure!

Could you tell us about your go-to look of the season?
RS: Hands down has to be the lehengas by “Aisha Rao x Cancelled Plans”! This collaboration between designer Aisha Rao and sustainable fashion label Cancelled Plans gave us this year’s quirkiest lehenga-choli sets created out of sock waste and in-seam pockets. They are so cool, yet meaningful. And most importantly, a step towards conscious luxury!

Is there any piece of diamond jewellery that you never take off?
RS: Speaking about my constant companions in diamonds, you will never see me without a pair of earrings and my ring with a simple, round brilliant solitaire .

Describe your 2020 wardrobe choices
RS: 2020 was all about zero drama; all purpose and above all, comfort clothing. So, I’ve been sporting pyjamas, shorts and my brother’s (even dad’s) oversized t-shirts!

Your preferred natural diamond cut?
RS: I would have to go with the classic round cut as that perfectly resonates with my personal style.

Resolutions for 2021?
RS: If 2020 has taught us anything it’s that tomorrow isn’t a given. So, if you want to make any changes in your routine, your life, make them today.
