It was one diamond after another at the Oscars 2026. With the 98th annual Academy Awards ceremony finally underway, we’re celebrating another outstanding year in film, from Sinners to Hamnet, and bringing the 2026 awards season to a close. 

As the denizens of Tinseltown pull up to the corner of Hollywood & Highland to show off their most extravagant fashions and extraordinary natural diamond jewellery, the evening will kick off at the Dolby Theatre. Rife with sartorial and cinematic milestones, our favorite stars toast to the best in the film industry while delivering the most glamorous and glittering diamond jewellery moments. 

Green, blue, yellow, and champagne diamonds hit the red carpet on the likes of Kate Hudson, Damson Idris, Chase Infiniti, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rose Byrne, and more. Diamond statement necklaces by Bulgari, Lorraine Schwartz, and more shined brighter than ever before. The gentlemen of the red carpet remained steadfast in their adoration for the faithful diamond brooch.

Vintage jewels also took center stage. Elle Fanning wore a diamond Cartier necklace, crafted over 100 years ago, while newly-minted Oscar winner, costume designer Kate Hawley, wore three brooches pulled from the Tiffany & Co. Archives. Felicity Jones and Usher followed suit, wearing diamonds from the 1920s and the 1930s, respectively.

Chief Creative Officer of Fred Leighton, Rebecca Selva, tells Only Natural Diamonds, “Vintage and antique jewellery is not old. It’s timeless. Wonderful designs have no age.” She says, “For me, it’s the magic of seeing the jewellery and the clothing come together with the person and creating that moment. That’s the magic that keeps us going.”

Jeweler to the stars and vintage jewellery aficionado, Neil Lane shares a similar sentiment. “Anyone can see how popular vintage jewels and old-cut diamonds are today. They’re lovable, they’re desirable. People are looking for character,” he shares with OND. “All the big brands today are taking out their vintage jewellery because that’s the secret sauce.”

For her Oscars 2026 debut, Isha Ambani paired her vintage Valentino gown with statement diamonds by Lorraine Schwartz. She wore a striking diamond choker featuring drop diamonds, complemented by coordinating drop earrings in pink and white diamonds.

Kate Hudson Wore Garatti Jewellery to the Oscars 2026

Styled by Sophie Lopez, Kate Hudson walked the red carpet in over 41 carats of rare green diamonds from Milan-based jewellery atelier Garatti, worth $35 million. Nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role this evening, the Song Sung Blue actress wore a glistening custom necklace, featuring a 16-carat fancy green diamond, surrounded by 49.85 carats of white diamonds from the Sofia Collection. Hudson added a Garatti ring with a 15-carat fancy deep green diamond, framed by radiant white diamonds, and bespoke earrings including two 5.01-carat fancy green diamonds from the Fancy Green Diamond Collection.

Best Lead Actress nominee Rose Byrne was a vision on the red carpet, wearing a one-of-a-kind pear-shaped champagne diamond, dangling from a warm brown enamel asymmetrical torque collar from Taffin by James De Givenchy. Styled by Kate Young, the If I Had Legs I’d Kick You actress teamed the eye-catching jewel with a strapless black Dior gown to properly display a desert diamond of this magnitude.

Chase Infiniti Wore De Beers London Jewellery to the Oscars 2026

Styled by Wayman + Micah, One Battle After Another breakout star Chase Infiniti looked ethereal on the red carpet, wearing a light lavender custom Louis Vuitton gown, teamed with the diamond “Summer” choker necklace from De Beers London’s Metamorphosis 2023 Couture Collection, featuring a stunning 9.06-carat cushion-cut fancy intense yellow diamond at its center, with 57.15 total carats set in 18-karat yellow and white gold.

Gwyneth Paltrow let her diamonds shine against her sleek, strapless ivory silk Armani Privé gown. The Marty Supreme actress arrived on the Oscars 2026 red carpet, wearing a one-of-a-kind Tiffany & Co. platinum and 18-karat yellow gold necklace featuring three oval-shaped Fancy Vivid Yellow diamonds. 

Sitting within a bed of lavish white diamonds, an internally flawless, Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond of 2.19 carats is paired with a 1.51-carat VVS2 Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond, and a 1.51-carat VVS1 Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond. She teamed the incredible jewel with diamond cluster earrings and an 8-carat diamond ring.

Damson Idris Wore DIDRIS Jewellery to the Oscars 2026

British-Nigerian actor Damson Idris stole the show on the red carpet, wearing a bespoke natural diamond brooch he designed himself from his very own luxury jewellery line, DIDRIS. Dressed in a navy blue custom Prada jacket with a fur trim, the F1 star pinned his creation to his pocket.

The brooch features a heat-treated natural marquise-cut 7.41-carat blue diamond wedged in between two marquise-cut white diamonds and four triangular diamonds. Encased in a circle, 42 more natural diamonds surround the motif, totaling 6.38 carats. Idris worked with Theo Ioannou, the founder of CAD-MAN, a bespoke jewellery studio from London’s Goldsmiths’ Center, to help complete the piece. 

“I always knew the value of jewellery—jewellery was the first thing that came into my life,” Idris previously told Only Natural Diamonds. From its inception, DIDRIS has only used natural diamonds from Botswana, South Africa, and Namibia—each stone Kimberley Process-certified by De Beers and sourced exclusively from conflict-free nations. “It was never a question,” he says. “I needed the diamonds to honor the land they came from.”

Styled by Erin Walsh, the wonderful Anne Hathaway teamed her black floral Valentino Spring/Summer 2026 Couture gown with matching black opera gloves and gob-smacking Bulgari diamonds from the new High Jewellery collection, Eclettica. Nominated for Best Supporting Actress thanks to her role as Perfidia Beverly Hills in Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another, Teyana Taylor sported a semi-sheer black Chanel number with over 50 carats of diamond Tiffany & Co. jewels for the special evening.

Taylor wore a breathtaking platinum and natural diamond necklace of over 18 carats, along with oval-shaped diamond drop earrings of over 12 carats. She added two diamond rings to the mix: one featuring an 11-carat diamond, and the other including a 9-carat diamond.

Kylie Jenner stunned in a bright red Schiaparelli keyhole gown by Daniel Roseberry, with nearly 200 carats of Lorraine Schwartz diamonds in her necklace, earrings, and rings, at the 98th annual Academy Awards. The Train Dreams actress added a vintage natural pearl and diamond bracelet set in platinum from the 1920s, along with an antique diamond and pearl bow ring, also from the 1920s.

Kate Hawley Wore Tiffany & Co. Jewellery to the Oscars 2026

Pinned to one side of her black cape, Kate Hawley sported three fabulous Tiffany & Co. Archives brooches, designed by Jean Schlumberger, while accepting the Academy Award for Best Costume Design, thanks to her work in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein. Going counter-clockwise from the top, Hawley wore a platinum, gold, white diamond, and coloured diamond brooch with yellow sapphires that resembled a swirling sun, created in 1969. Beneath that, she wore a platinum, gold, natural diamond, and yellow beryl floral brooch, crafted between 1965 and 1970. At the bottom of her assortment, Hawley wore a platinum, gold, diamond, ruby, and sapphire brooch, designed in 1952. 

An outfit in keeping with her work, Hawley worked closely with the Tiffany & Co. team for the on-screen jewellery in Frankenstein. During the release of the film, Hawley said in a press release, “Having Tiffany & Co. as a collaborator was an honor that was deeply moving for my entire crew. It was a recognition of our craft and added a new artistic dimension.” She explained, “Tiffany’s jewellery became its own creative contribution, similar to hair design, makeup, wardrobe, sets, and props, and was integral to completing the design space. It was not just an accessory but an essential element specifically to Elizabeth’s character, enhancing the colour palette and overall interpretation of her world.”

Usher brought a little piece of history with him to the Oscars 2026. Pinned alongside his black bowtie, the musician wore a Fred Leighton diamond clip brooch, crafted in platinum from the 1930s. Legendary Tiffany & Co. designer Jean Schlumberger first sketched the whimsical design in 1965, after he encountered a yellow cockatoo outside of his home in Guadeloupe. He dreamt up a whimsical pavé diamond feathered creature perched upon a large gemstone. The iconic Bird on a Rock brooch has since spread its diamond-embellished wings, perching on the lapels of Hollywood’s brightest stars for over six decades now. 

Robert Downey Jr. Wore Tiffany & Co. Jewellery to the Oscars 2026

Robert Downey Jr. presented the award for Best Adapted Screenplay, wearing a forest green suit and a Tiffany & Co. Bird on a Rock brooch featuring a pavé diamond bird perched upon a green tourmaline of over 39 carats.

Last year, the Iron Man actor wore yet another Jean Schlumberger design for Tiffany & Co. He sported the historic Two Fruit brooch pinned to his lapel.
