Florence Gremaud

A Franco-Swiss journalist-author for 20 years, Florence Gremaud's passion for jewellery, gems and watches is intimately linked to her origins and history. She enjoys celebrating the excellence of Swiss jewellery and watchmaking through writing. Very early on, she published a book on French expressions with Gallimard jeunesse, entitled "J'ai un mot sur la langue" (2002), then she devoted herself to journalistic writing for reference magazines such as L'EXPRESS STYLES (jewellery), FASHION DAILY NEWS (fashion), DREAMS (jewellery), CB NEWS (special luxury), LE BIJOUTIER INTERNATIONAL (editor-in-chief). Of literary training and a grauduate of a school of journalism, Florence likes to tame language in the same way we shape metal, or cut a diamond, to transcribe the different universes and make them felt. A passionate violinist, she likes to build bridges between the different crafts: violin making, gem cutting and gastronomy. Because for her, the important thing is to transform the material, like this pretty diamond.
