8 Times Lorraine Schwartz Jewellery Stole the Show

When Lorraine isn’t outfitting stars for the red carpet in her natural diamond pieces, she’s guiding the next generation of jewellery designers. In 2021, Lorraine and the Natural Diamond Council launched the Emerging Designers Diamond Initiative, a year-long program created to remove barriers to entry in the jewellery industry, offering unparalleled access to industry education and resources to Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) jewellery designers.
The 2022 Oscars marked the official return to Hollywood glamour, and when it came to the jewellery, Lorraine Schwartz’s diamonds spoke for themselves with these eight looks.
1. Beyoncé
All eyes are always on Beyoncé, especially inside the Dolby Theater on Oscar night. Beyoncé—who performed her Oscar-nominated song from King Richard called “Be Alive”—opened the show wearing Lorraine Schwartz bangles and rings. During her performance, she wore several Lorraine Schwartz jewellery pieces, including 150 carats of white diamonds set in her bangles, a 50 carat emerald cut diamond ring and a 20 carat cushion diamond ring. The diamond look of the evening, however, belonged to the 150 carat, custom-made diamond earrings she wore while enjoying the show. Only the best for the Queen.
2. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker
Travis Barker turned to Lorraine Schwartz jewellery designs to help create the engagement ring he gave Kourtney Kardashian last year, so it’s only fitting that the couple made their Oscar debut as a duo wearing jewellery from the designer. On the red carpet, Kourtney wore black jade and white diamond angel wing earrings while Travis sported a white diamond brooch.
3. Kim Kardashian
For the Vanity Fair Oscar party, Kim Kardashian’s diamond drop earrings by Lorraine Schwartz were the perfect touch to complement her electric blue Balenciaga gown.
4. Wanda Sykes
Wanda Sykes, AKA one-third of the 2022 Oscars hosting trio, opened the show decked out in Lorraine Schwartz jewellery, including 30 carat round diamond studs and a 30 carat briolette diamond necklace. She finished her look with a 15 carat cushion diamond ring.
5. Sean “Diddy” Combs
Hip-hop icon Sean “Diddy” Combs is another longtime friend and fan of Lorraine Schwartz, and the star graced the Oscars red carpet and stage wearing a 35 carat emerald cut pinky ring. Diddy made his love for Lorraine Schwartz jewellery a family affair, with daughter Chance Combs wearing white diamond earrings and more than 15 carats of white diamonds in her Lorraine Schwartz rings.
6. Megan Thee Stallion
Before Megan Thee Stallion took the stage to perform a remix of the Encanto song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” the Hot Girl wore more than 100 carats of Lorraine Schwartz jewellery, including blue sapphire and white diamonds. Her look included earrings with more than 50 carats of sapphires and diamonds, bangles with more than 40 carats of sapphires and diamonds and 20 carats of diamonds in her rings.
7. Sofia Vergara
Sofia Vergara has worked with Lorraine Schwartz to create memorable red carpet moments for years, and the diamond jewellery she wore for the Vanity Fair Oscar After Party is another example of their beautiful partnership. For the party, Vergara wore a flower ring with matching flower earrings.
8. Chrissy Teigen
Model and entrepreneur Chrissy Teigen turned up the glam at the Vanity Fair bash in geometrical diamond earrings and an equally dazzling Georges Hobeika embellished silver gown.
