DIATRUE CS

DIATRUE CS is a desktop diamond verification instrument for loose and mounted diamonds. DIATRUE CS is designed to separate natural diamonds from synthetic diamonds. DIATRUE CS is manually operated and gives a semi-automatic test results.

The performance metrics shown below are based on testing done in 2020 using the ASSURE 1.0 test standard and sample sets. The DIATRUE CS has not been tested under ASSURE 2.0.

The ASSURE 1.0 Core Sample consists of 1,000 loose diamonds, 200 loose synthetic diamonds and 200 loose diamond simulants. The stones are 0.02ct to 0.20ct in D-J colour.

DIATRUE CS measures multiple stones and semi-automatically displays one of the following results:

  1. Diamond
  2. Synthetic diamond (separate HPHT and CVD)
  3. Refer

The ‘Refer’ result could indicate a potential synthetic diamond or natural diamond. DIATRUE CS has a special ‘refer function’. If operator still has a doubt after utilizing the ‘refer function’ OGI recommends further testing by a gemmological laboratory.
