Louis Vuitton’s New LV Diamonds Fine Jewelry Collection Gives Classics a Modern Spin

Meet LV Diamonds, the very first natural diamond jewelry collection of its kind.

Today, world-famous fashion house Louis Vuitton launches a brand new, budget-friendly fine jewelry collection, LV Diamonds. Designed by Francesca Amfitheatrof, Artistic Director of Watches and Fine Jewelry, and worn beautifully in the campaign by Anna Ewers, the collection finds inspiration in what LV does best: the codes of the house. But these pieces aren’t your traditional LV motifs; the collection presents a subtle twist to the classics, giving the pieces new life for a modern age.

“As symbols of commitment, these pieces of jewelry pay homage to our bonds with other people, both to loved ones and to ourselves,” the maison states. “They are there to celebrate each facet of our lives.”

Throughout the collection, a harmonious use of the metals and materials complements a reinterpretation of the maison’s iconic star-shaped monogram flower that was originally created by Georges-Louis Vuitton in 1896; it’s this flower that has been synonymous with the maison since its inception. Here, the symbol of eternity appears as a bold new cut called the LV Monogram Star natural diamond featuring 53 facets and pointed ends.

Shining bright thanks to the brilliant diamond cuts, the rings, earrings and pendants in this new LV Monogram Star motif are meant to be worn by any and all fashion lovers, no matter their gender. Available in solid platinum, solid rose gold and the aforementioned metals adorned with pave diamonds, the unisex rings specifically pay tribute to the Art Deco style in which Gaston-Louis Vuitton adorned his suitcases in the 1920s and 1930s.

And the best part? The LV diamonds collection marks the debut of the maison’s first ever LV Diamonds Certificate, a document that ensures each gemstone is responsibly and ethically sourced. The certificate lays out the natural diamonds’ 4 Cs—color, clarity, cut and carat—and tracks the diamond’s journey from its origin country, through the workshops where it was cut, polished and mounted in its display in a Louis Vuitton boutique. Diamond pieces in the collection start at $2,210.
