The First Monday in May, fashion’s biggest night, the Met Gala has finally arrived. This is a big night for fashion and natural diamonds, of course. With this years theme honoring the late Karl Lagerfeld and his iconic designs (and his love for diamonds), here are the best diamond looks from the carpet.
The actress and Global Ambassador for yours truly wore a stunning natural diamond necklace with a pear shape center from De Beers latest collection, The Alchemist of Light, layered with a classic diamond tennis necklace and diamond square studs also from De Beers.
Bollywood star Alia Bhatt looked radiant in a pearl encrusted gown from Prabal Gurung. Bhatt wore epic natural diamond rings and pearl and natural diamond earrings from Malbar Gold and Diamonds.

Executive Director, Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, Isha Ambani Piramal’s look paid homage to Karl Lagerfield’s favourite colour palette – a draped black silhouette covered in a sea of white pearls from Prabal Gurung’s atelier. Prinyaka Chopra wore Bulgari’s most special piece, the Laguna Blu, which is currently on auction at Sotheby’s. This Fancy Vivid Blue diamond is one of the rarest in the world, weighing in at 11.16 carats. This is the first time Bulgari’s Laguna Blu is being seen in a new setting, a diamond chain necklace, since 1970, where it was originally set in a ring.
