Barbie is coming! As the world gears up for the iconic doll to come to life as Margot Robbie in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, the red carpet looks have been keeping us on our toes and totally obsessed with all things Barbie.
The Los Angeles red carpet was the first US premiere of the film, and although we’ve been treated to photocalls and Barbie celebrations, this seems to be the first with the entire cast plus plenty of celebrity appearances.
On the red—or should we say pink—carpet itself, alongside the classic pink ensembles and iconic high ponytails, there were plenty of natural diamonds on the film’s cast, crew, and more. Ahead, take a look at the most blinged-out looks from the Barbie premiere.
Instead of arriving in her signature Barbie pink as she has for the past few Barbie events, Robbie turned heads in a black sequin dress and matching gloves, an exact replica of 1960s Barbie’s Solo in the Spotlight outfit. The best part of her ensemble had to be the stacked natural diamond necklaces from Lorraine Schwartz and simple studs.
President Barbie looked gorgeous in her hot pink dress paired with Chopard diamond drop earrings with an imperial amethyst accent at the top and bottom of the piece. She also wore a selection of natural diamond rings and a simple tennis bracelet.
Styled by Alexandra Mandelkorn, Shipp’s double diamond hoop earring is both edgy and glam.
The actress who plays Doctor Barbie stunned in Tiffany and Co natural diamond necklace and earrings in the brand’s classic Victoria style.
The Tiffany and Co ambassador opted for their new lock earrings dusted with pavé diamonds and a graduated tennis necklace.
The Mother of Barbieverse, aka the film’s director, wore a hot pink suit with statement natural diamond earrings.
Barb herself attended the premiere wearing diamond earrings and flashing her huge diamond engagement ring.
Given her luggage company Beis’ collaboration with Barbie, it’s no surprise the actress walked the pink carpet in Los Angeles. She opted for sizable natural diamond studs and a diamond tennis bracelet.
